Craps Dice Roller
Roll two dice for craps with realistic 3D physics. Craps is the most exciting casino dice game тАФ based entirely on the roll of two six-sided dice. Practice your rolls, learn the odds, and understand the game without risking a dime.
How Craps Works
A game of craps starts with the "come-out roll." If you roll 7 or 11, the Pass Line wins immediately (called a "natural"). If you roll 2, 3, or 12, the Pass Line loses ("craps"). Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) becomes the "point." Now you keep rolling until you either hit the point again (Pass Line wins) or roll a 7 (Pass Line loses, called "sevening out").
Craps Odds and Probabilities
The Pass Line bet has a house edge of only 1.41%, making it one of the best bets in any casino. The Don't Pass bet is slightly better at 1.36%. The Odds bet (placed behind the Pass Line after a point is set) has zero house edge тАФ it's the only bet in a casino that pays true odds. Always take maximum odds when available. Avoid proposition bets (hard ways, any craps, etc.) as they carry house edges of 5-17%.
Key Craps Numbers
7 is the most important number in craps тАФ it's the most likely roll (16.7% chance) and determines wins/losses in both phases. On the come-out, 7 is your friend (natural winner). After the point is set, 7 is your enemy (sevens out). The point numbers and their probabilities: 4 and 10 (8.3% each), 5 and 9 (11.1% each), 6 and 8 (13.9% each). This is why 6 and 8 are the easiest points to make.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best bet in craps?
The Pass Line (1.41% house edge) and Don't Pass (1.36%) are the best base bets. The Odds bet behind the Pass/Don't Pass line has zero house edge, making it the single best bet in any casino. Always take maximum odds.
What does "snake eyes" mean in craps?
Snake eyes is rolling double 1s (a total of 2). It's craps on the come-out roll, meaning Pass Line bets lose. The probability is 2.78% (1 in 36). "Boxcars" or "midnight" refers to double 6s (total 12), which is equally rare and also craps on the come-out.
Can I practice craps with this roller?
Yes. Roll two dice and follow the craps rules: 7 or 11 on the come-out wins, 2/3/12 loses, anything else sets the point. Then roll until you hit the point (win) or roll a 7 (lose). This is a great way to learn the game before visiting a casino.
